Bozzuto Development Group
The Fitzgerald is a multi-use development in the center of a downtown arts district. The architecture is inspired by the great hotels of the Jazz-age and caters to a diverse group of residents in a historic neighborhood.
To achieve the sensibility of a high-end boutique hotel inspired by Art Deco design, materials and colors for the environmental graphics are a mix of subtle textures, rich colors; metallics and transparency. The focus is on contrast of scale; heavy versus light as is reflected in the building’s monolithic primary identity sign, running vertically along the building’s jutting southwest facade.
